Philippe Costeletos

Chairman of the Board

Philippe has over 30 years of experience in private markets. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at RIT (“Rothschild Investment Trust”) Capital Partners Plc (LON: RCP) and is the Chairman of the Conflicts Committee and of the Remuneration Committee and a member of the Nominations Committee, and of the Valuation Committee. Philippe is also a Senior Advisor to the Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX), Chairman of Mistral Fertility, and a Board Member of Digital Care, the Vangest Group and of Generation Home.

Formerly, Philippe was Chairman at Colony Capital International, a global real estate and investment management firm with $30 billion in AUM. Between 2003 and 2013 he was a Partner and Head of Europe at TPG, a leading global private investment firm with $135 billion in AUM, and a member of TPG’s Global Management and Investment Committees. Prior to that, Philippe was a Member of the Management Committee at Investcorp, a leading manager of alternative investment products with $50 billion in AUM. Previously, Philippe held positions at JP Morgan Capital, JP Morgan’s Private Equity Group and Morgan Stanley.

Philippe is a member of the President’s Council on International Activities at Yale University and the Yale Centre for Emotional Intelligence Advisory Board, where he graduated with a BA in Mathematics. Philippe received an MBA with honor of Beta Gamma Sigma from Columbia University.

Andreas Rötheli

Board Member

Andreas has more than 30 years of experience as a lawyer and heads the Corporate and M&A practice group of Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva. He regularly advises on international and domestic transactions, including private equity buy-outs and transactional real estate matters. Andreas Rötheli is consistently recommended by many rating agencies in his practice areas.

Andreas joined Lenz & Staehelin in 1996 and became a partner in 2002. He is a member of the Geneva Bar Association (OdA), Swiss Bar Association (SAV), International Bar Association (IBA), and American Bar Association (ABA). He graduated from the University of Geneva with a Bachelor of Law (lic. Iur) and completed a Masters (M.C.J.) at New York University School of Law.

C. Kees Verhaar

Board Member

Kees currently serves as Chairman of the Vangest Group. Kees is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TenCate Protective Fabrics.

He has over 30 years of executive experience, with in depth knowledge of manufacturing. He was the Chief Executive Officer and President of Arizona Chemical Company, LLC, a leading global producer of high-value performance products and specialty chemicals derived from non-hydrocarbon, renewable raw materials. As CEO he oversaw $1 billion in revenue and over 1,000 employees, leading the company through its acquisition in 2016 by Kraton Polymers for over $1.3bn. He previously served as President of the Epoxy & Coatings Division of Hexion Specialty Chemicals. Before joining Hexion in 2006, he served in senior management positions at companies that included Noveon Inc, Johnson Polymer, DeVoe Coatings, and ESHA Group. He served from 2017 to 2019 as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Avantium N.V., a leading chemical technology company focused on renewable chemistry.

Kees received a Master of Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Qasar Younis

Board Member

Qasar is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist with expertise in engineering and product management. He has over 20 years of experience in Entrepreneurship and currently is the Co-Founder and CEO of Applied Intuition, a technology company providing advanced software and infrastructure tools for self-driving vehicles. Applied Intuition was most recently valued at $15bn and has raised over $950mn in venture capital from some of Silicon Valley’s most prominent venture capital firms, such as, Andreessen Horowitz, General Catalyst and Coatue Management.

Prior to starting Applied Intuition, he was the COO and General Partner of Y Combinator, the world’s most successful startup accelerator, based in Silicon Valley. He has personally angel invested in over 100 startups. Prior to joining Y Combinator, he was a Product Manager at Google, responsible for leading a group of business owner facing tools used by tens of millions of companies. Prior to Google, Qasar was the Co-Founder and CEO of Talkbin, a software platform that allowed customers to give direct feedback to retailers and local business via text message, which was acquired by Google in 2011 and integrated into Google Maps. Prior to Talkbin, Qasar gained experience within the retail industry as a Finance Director at Sears Holdings Corporation. He started his career as an engineer at General Motors and continued his automotive experience at Robert Bosch as an engineer and product manager of automotive safety systems.

He has an engineering degree from Kettering University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Constantin Papadimitriou

Board Member

Constantin has over 35 years of investment experience in global capital markets as the Chief Executive Officer at the Family Office which manages the estate of the late Sir James Goldsmith, the Cavamont Group. He is a Board Member of Tellco AG, and Geopark, a Latin American oil and gas company.

During his 30 years tenure within the Cavamont Group, Constantin has notably been responsible for the Private Equity Portfolio and has represented the group on the boards of associated companies in the oil and gas, mining, real estate and gaming sectors. Constantin is also founding partner of Diorasis International, a company focusing on investments in Greece and the broader Balkans.

Constantin chairs the Greek Language School of Geneva and Lausanne. He holds an Economics and Finance degree and a postgraduate diploma in European Studies both from the University of Geneva.

Duarte Moreira

Co-Founder & CEO

Duarte Moreira is a co-Founder and CEO at Zeno Partners, a private markets investment group, focused in Venture Capital and Private Equity. He is also the Chairman and controlling shareholder of one of the largest Swiss independent pension fund asset managers (9 bn AUM), and the Chairman of a Swiss bank. He is also the board member of a Swiss Real Estate company (1.9 bn AUM), and board member at an European industrial group. Previously, he was a Principal in a Swiss based private markets firm (1.8 bn AUM).

Duarte Moreira earned his MBA at the Warwick Business School.

Christopher Kile

Co-Founder & CIO

Christopher is Co-founder and CIO at Zeno. He is also a Board Member of several of Zeno’s portfolio companies in sectors ranging from financial services, industrial, and healthcare.

Prior to Zeno, Christopher co-founded ACE & Company in Geneva, where he dedicated the first 10 years of his career. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Babson College.

Alessio Zolesi

Finance Director, CFA

Alessio is a Director at Zeno and a Board Member at Vangest. Formerly, Alessio was a Senior Manager at KPMG where he advised dozens of private equity firms, publicly listed multinationals and private companies on acquisitions, carve-outs and M&A transactions.

Alessio holds a Master in Accounting Control and Finance from HEC Lausanne, and is both a Swiss Certified Public Accountant and a CFA Charterholder.

Loïc Droze

Operations Director, CFA

Loïc is a Director at Zeno Partners, overseeing the firm’s operational, risk, and regulatory framework. He is also a Board Member of Zeno Partners’ Flex Ltd. Previously, Loïc was Head of the Financial Analyst Team at Novum Capital Partners, where he led investment analysis, reporting, and client‑related processes. He began his career in financial analysis and valuation, gaining experience across investment operations, transaction structuring, and portfolio management.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Jake Jolis

Partner

Jake is a Partner at Zeno, where he focuses on venture capital investments. He was previously a Partner at Matrix Partners, a venture capital firm based in San Francisco founded in 1977 with $4 Billion of assets under management. Formerly, he co‑founded and served as CEO of Verbling, a video‑based language learning platform backed by Y Combinator and acquired through a strategic exit. Jake studied at Stanford University.

Clarissa Mariani

Investment Principal

Clarissa is an Investment Principal at Zeno, which she joined in 2022. Clarissa focuses on investment execution across Zeno’s investment strategies. Formerly she was a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group in Geneva, working across the financial, aerospace, and medical sectors.

Clarissa holds a Bachelor and a Masters in Finance from the Bocconi University and was awarded the Bocconi Graduate Merit Award for academic excellence.

Gonzalo Cervera

Investment Associate

Gonzalo is an Investment Associate at Zeno, focusing on private equity investments. Prior to joining Zeno, he was an Investment Banking Associate at HSBC in London, focusing on M&A advisory within the Chemicals industry.

Gonzalo holds a Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Manchester.

Henri Sieber

Investment Associate

Henri is a Investment Associate at Zeno, where he focuses on data-driven approaches to deal sourcing and investment research across private equity and venture capital. He previously worked at the CERN as a research scientist, focusing on large-scale data analysis and computational modeling.

Henri holds a PhD in Physics from ETH Zurich, a Masters in Physics at ETH, and a Bachelor in Physics at the University of Geneva. Henri received multiple merit-based awards for academic excellence.

Victor Menudier

Operations Specialist

Victor is an Operations Specialist at Zeno, supporting Zeno’s operational, risk, and regulatory framework—partnering across investment operations, reporting, and process controls. Previously a Financial Analyst at Newton Investment Management, where he supported institutional client in their investments, operations and regulatory requirements.

He holds an Masters in Business Analytics and a Bachelor in Finance from the University of New Hampshire.

Greta Carli

Executive Assistant

Greta is an Executive Assistant at Zeno, supporting the firm’s Geneva office and ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. She is the first point of contact for our clientss and assists with the day‑to‑day needs of the CEO and the CIO.
